Description of the program FiatScan 3.0

FiatScan 3.0 diagnostic program is designed for servicing cars of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Innocenti cars (Fiat group).

The requirements of FiatScan 3.0 program

The minimum computer configuration for the program is:

• 200MHz processor,
• 64 MB RAM memory,
• CD-ROM drive,
• 40 MB of free hard disk space,
• Windows operating system 95/98/Me/2000/XP.
• one standard communication serial port (COM) or (USB) (while using the RS232-USB converter).
• before starting the program it is also recommended to close other programs running on your system

Features of FiatScan 3.0 program

FiatScan diagnostic program, version 3.0 has the following features:

• can read the controller label (identification numbers, ISO code),
• can be connected to over 140 types of drivers, including engine, gearbox, abs, airbag and air conditioning controllers and many others,
• can read and erase errors,
• can print error codes to a printer or to a file,
• can read current parameters such as temperature, engine speed, etc.,
• can save and recover data from the readout of parameters to a file
• can test the executing components such as relays, injectors, etc.
• can regulate basic executive components such as a throttle.

What is new in comparison with the FiatScan 2.0 version

• extended, from over 60 to over 140, list of served controllers (engine, abs, airbag)
• multiplexer of diagnostic line K (in case of a 16 pin OBD socket) , more information on the FiatScan homepage
• direct access to all served controllers (without the need to give the name of the model), thanks to which the user may diagnose a chosen model, which is equipped with the controllers included in the list
